Suvendu Adhikari reviews development works in three Bengal districts
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday chaired an administrative meeting in Kalyani and reviewed development works in Nadia, North 24 Parganas and Hooghly districts. TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, who resigned as president of the party's Barasat organisational district on Sunday, attended the meeting along with the TMC MLAs of Deganga, Swarupnagar and Haroa. An official said all MLAs and MPs of the three districts were invited to the meeting.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the programme, Ghosh Dastidar said, "The administration belongs to everyone." The official said the meeting reviewed ongoing welfare schemes and discussed steps for better implementation of development projects at the grassroots level. "The chief minister has been holding district-level administrative meetings regularly to monitor progress and address bottlenecks in governance," he said.
