Mamata Banerjee visits flood-hit areas, promises crop insurance for affected farmers
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reiterated her commitment to support residents affected by the ongoing flood crisis in various parts of the state. After visiting flood-hit areas such as Purshura in Hooghly, Goghat-Arambagh, and Ghatal in West Midnapore, she emphasized her promise to stand by those in need. The CM has been in constant communication with the administration in the flood-affected regions, including Birbhum, ensuring relief efforts are reaching all affected families. Yesterday, she visited Panshkura and Ratuliya, where she reassured the locals, promising that the government would remain by their side. She confirmed that those who suffered crop damage will receive crop insurance.
