In pre-election move, CM Shinde waives Mumbai entry toll for light moving vehicles

In addition to the toll announcement, the Maharashtra cabinet approved the renaming of Maharashtra State Skills University after the late industrialist Ratan Tata, who passed away at the age of 86 on October 9 in a Mumbai hospital. The university, located in Mumbai and established in 2022, offers a variety of degree and diploma programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The state cabinet also expressed its condolences over the killing of former state minister Baba Siddique, passing a resolution to mourn his loss during the meeting.
