4 arrested for 36 mobile phone theft at Alan Walker concert in Pune, 14 devices recovered

Police apprehended suspects from Hyderabad and Mumbai following a tip-off, recovering 14 stolen mobile phones. Investigations continue as a larger theft operation is suspected behind the incident

Police have arrested four individuals suspected of stealing multiple mobile phones during DJ Alan Walker's musical concert in Pune's Kharadi area. The incident took place on October 18, with 36 mobile phones worth Rs 4.87 lakh reported stolen. A 20-year-old man approached the Chandan Nagar police after the event to report the theft of his phone. Several other complaints followed, leading the police to investigate.

Acting on a tip-off and technical evidence, authorities recovered 14 stolen mobile phones from the suspects. According to a senior official from the Chandan Nagar police station, two of the suspects are from Hyderabad, while the other two hail from Mumbai. The police are probing further, suspecting that a larger gang might be behind the theft operation.
