Haryana government prioritises ensuring citizens' access to superior medical facilities: Minister
Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao on Sunday said that the government is continuously working to strengthen the state's healthcare infrastructure and prioritises ensuring that citizens have access to superior medical facilities.
She added that with this objective in mind, emphasis is being placed on upgrading healthcare institutions to meet local needs, providing necessary human resources, and enhancing the quality of health services.
New healthcare facilities inaugurated in Gurugram region
Rao said this while addressing the gathering after inaugurating a new Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Sidhrawali and a new Sub-Health Centre in Rathiwas. Along with this, the work of upgrading the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Daulatabad to a Community Health Centre (CHC) was also launched.
Government aims to improve access to medical services
The minister said the government aims to ensure healthcare is more accessible and effective for the general public. They do not have to travel to distant hospitals for essential medical facilities.
"The expansion of health facilities in Sidhrawali, Daultabad, and Rathiwas is a significant step in this direction. This initiative will not only provide better healthcare services to the local population but also help alleviate the burden of patient overcrowding at existing health facilities," Rao said.
