Elections 2026 | BJP appoints Piyush Goyal as TN election in-charge, Baijayant Panda for Assam

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced the appointment of incharges and co-incharges for the upcoming Assembly elections in several states. Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed as the BJP’s election incharge for Tamil Nadu, with Arjun Ram Meghwal and Murlidhar Mohol named as co-incharges, the party said. For Assam, Baijayant Panda has been appointed as the BJP’s election incharge, while Sunil Kumar Sharma and Darshana Ben Jardosh will serve as co-incharges. Assembly elections in both Tamil Nadu and Assam are scheduled to be held in 2026.
