ED conduct raids at Anil Ambani-linked properties in Delhi & Mumbai amid money laundering inspection
On July 24, 2025, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out simultaneous raids across over 35 locations associated with industrialist Anil Ambani in Delhi and Mumbai, targeting elements within his Reliance ADA Group (RAAGA)over allegations of money laundering and a ₹3,000 crore loan fraud involving Yes Bank. Authorities scrutinized records at around 50 companies and questioned more than 25 individuals, including promoters and executives within the group. Preliminary findings suggest a “well‑planned scheme” aimed at siphoning public funds—allegedly involving the diversion of loans through shell companies, loan evergreening, and possible bribery of Yes Bank officials, allowing unsecured credit disbursals. The focus of the probe includes loan disbursements between 2017–2019, during which Yes Bank extended approximately ₹3,000 crore to RAAGA companies—loans allegedly routed improperly and sanctioned even before the execution of official procedures. Regulatory bodies such as SEBI and the National Housing Bank have also contributed evidence related to irregularities at Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL).
