Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX Edge launched at Rs 9.39 lakh, panoramic sunroof now under Rs 10 lakh

New RevX Edge and Edge (O) variants bring more premium equipment to the middle of the XUV 3XO range, with petrol and diesel powertrain options

Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded the XUV 3XO range with the launch of the new RevX Edge and RevX Edge (O) variants, with prices starting at Rs 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The update makes several features previously available higher up the range accessible at lower price points, including a panoramic sunroof for under Rs 10 lakh.

The company has also expanded the powertrain choices available under the RevX badge, adding diesel options and introducing a petrol-automatic version of the RevX M(O) at Rs 9.99 lakh.

Prices start at Rs 9.39 lakh

The XUV 3XO RevX Edge petrol-manual is priced at Rs 9.39 lakh, while its petrol-automatic and diesel-manual versions cost Rs 10.59 lakh each. The better-equipped RevX Edge (O) starts at Rs 9.89 lakh for the petrol-manual. The petrol-automatic and diesel-manual versions are priced at Rs 11.09 lakh each, while the diesel-AMT costs Rs 11.91 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The newly introduced petrol-automatic RevX M(O), meanwhile, costs Rs 9.99 lakh.

More features on Edge

The RevX Edge adds a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, a rear-view camera and USB Type-C charging. It also gets black leatherette upholstery, rear AC vents, a rear armrest with cupholders and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.

The RevX Edge (O) builds on this equipment with a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, electrically folding outside rear-view mirrors, passive keyless entry, push-button start, automatic headlamps and automatic wipers.

The RevX models continue to distinguish themselves visually with dual-tone exterior finishes, a body-coloured grille and blacked-out wheels.

Petrol, diesel options

Under the bonnet, the new RevX Edge variants are available with Mahindra’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.

The petrol produces 111hp and can be paired with manual or automatic transmissions. The 117hp diesel is available with manual and AMT gearbox choices across the applicable variants.

Mahindra has, however, dropped the more powerful 131hp 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine from the revised RevX range.

Six airbags standard

Safety equipment across the XUV 3XO range includes six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, reverse parking sensors and three-point seat belts with reminders for all occupants.

As part of the latest rejig, Mahindra has positioned the new RevX Edge models in the middle of the XUV 3XO range. The SUV is now offered in 11 trims — MX1, MX2, RevX M, RevX M(O), RevX Edge, RevX Edge (O), AX5, RevX A, AX5L, AX7 and AX7L.

The earlier MX2 Pro, MX3 and MX3 Pro trims have been discontinued.

The expanded RevX range also comes as the XUV 3XO crosses 2.5 lakh sales in less than two-and-a-half years, making it Mahindra’s fastest SUV to reach the milestone.
