Ducati rolls out 2025 Multistrada V4 in India with focus on tech, comfort
Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has launched the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S in India, bringing updated technology, design changes and a stronger focus on rider comfort and efficiency.
The new Multistrada V4 models, available across Ducati dealerships from Monday, feature a revised chassis, updated suspension systems and electronics aimed at improving handling and safety. Among the key additions is an “Automatic Lowering Device,” which reduces the bike’s height at low speeds, making it easier to manage in city traffic or while parking.
The motorcycles also come with extended cylinder deactivation technology, which Ducati says cuts fuel consumption by about six per cent. The 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine continues to deliver 170 hp and is now Euro 5+ compliant. Maintenance intervals remain unchanged at 60,000 km for valve clearance checks and 15,000 km or 24 months for oil changes.
Styling changes include a sharper front end inspired by Ducati’s Panigale V4, a redesigned silencer and more prominent double headlights. The company says the updates are designed to highlight the sport-touring identity of the Multistrada.
On the safety front, the new bikes integrate a “Forward Collision Warning” feature in addition to existing adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection systems, using radar technology. Emergency braking now triggers both the Ducati Brake Light and the indicators to warn trailing vehicles.
The Multistrada V4 S also features semi-active suspension with Skyhook DSS EVO, enhanced with predictive bump detection. A new Ducati Vehicle Observer system, adapted from the brand’s MotoGP experience, further refines traction, braking and wheelie control by simulating multiple sensor inputs for better stability.
Passenger comfort has also been addressed with repositioned panniers and a new support structure for the top case, offering more legroom. Multiple seat options are available for both riders and pillions.
Prices for the 2025 Multistrada V4 start at ₹22.98 lakh (ex-showroom), while the V4 S versions range between ₹28.64 lakh and ₹30.18 lakh, depending on colour and wheel options. The bikes will be available in Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Arctic White.
The Multistrada V4 family competes in India’s luxury adventure touring segment, where it faces rivals from BMW Motorrad and Triumph.
