Aston Martin unveils three Le Mans-inspired DB12 S models

Aston Martin has unveiled three bespoke DB12 S Coupe models inspired by its Le Mans racing heritage, as part of celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Named VMF 63, VMF 64 and VMF 65, the three one-off cars were revealed at Monterey Car Week 2026. They have been created by Aston Martin’s in-house Q personalisation division and draw inspiration from the DB2 race cars that competed at the 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans. The British luxury carmaker says the special models celebrate the racing roots of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, which is marking its 75th anniversary this year.

Three cars get distinct accents

All three DB12 S-based models are finished in Carbon Black but receive individual colour treatments to distinguish them. The VMF 63 features Rosso Red-painted grille vanes, while the VMF 64 uses Speed Yellow accents. The VMF 65 gets Ellwood Blue detailing. The same individual colours are carried into the cabins through contrast stitching and other personalised elements.

Each car also receives a ‘75’ graphic on the fenders, painted carbon-fibre side strakes and a carbon-fibre Aeroblade. A silhouette graphic depicting the historic DB2 has been incorporated at the rear, further strengthening the connection with Aston Martin’s motorsport past. Inside, the front seat backs feature embroidered DB2 silhouettes, while the rear seats carry ‘75’ stitching. Bespoke ‘75’ plaques have also been added to the door sills, with the start-stop rotary controller and paddle shifters receiving special painted finishes.

Powertrain details awaited

Aston Martin has not disclosed the powertrain specifications of the three VMF cars. However, the models are based on the DB12 S, which uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine producing 700hp and 800Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The standard DB12 S can accelerate from 0-100kph in 3.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 325kph. The VMF models form part of Aston Martin’s broader presence at Monterey Car Week, whose 75th edition celebrates early-1950s sports cars and racing icons. Alongside the three bespoke DB12 S models, the company is displaying a heritage DB2, the limited-production Vanquish 25 Special Edition and its current S range comprising the DB12 S, Vantage S and DBX S. The three VMF cars highlight Aston Martin’s effort to connect its current high-performance road cars with a racing history stretching back decades, while showcasing the customisation possibilities offered by its Q bespoke division.
