Manipur CM writes to Rekha Gupta over musician's death; seeks expedited probe, stringent prosecution

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh has written to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta seeking an expedited investigation into the death of a musician from the northeastern state in the national capital and stringent prosecution of those found responsible.

Expressing concern over the incident, Singh urged the Delhi government to ensure that the circumstances surrounding the musician’s death are investigated thoroughly and without delay. In his communication to Gupta, the Manipur Chief Minister underlined the seriousness of the case and sought the Delhi government's intervention to ensure a speedy and transparent investigation.
