Tobey Maguire officiates ex-wife Jennifer Meyer's wedding to Geoff Ogunlesi in Hawaii

Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire, best known for playing Spider-Man, officiated the wedding of his former wife, jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, and music executive Geoff Ogunlesi in Hawaii on Saturday, October 10. The ceremony came just weeks after Maguire and Meyer finalised their divorce, nearly a decade after announcing their separation.

Meyer, 49, and Ogunlesi, 34, exchanged vows at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in the presence of family and several high-profile guests. Maguire's role in the ceremony drew particular attention, highlighting the cordial relationship the former couple have maintained since ending their marriage.

Photographs from the ceremony have circulated on social media, showing the couple celebrating their wedding at the Hawaiian resort. The guest list included Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, actor Courteney Cox, stylist Rachel Zoe, entrepreneur Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos.

Other attendees included Kate Hudson, Danny Fujikawa, Erin Foster, Kris Jenner and rapper Young Thug.

Meyer and Ogunlesi had been romantically involved since 2023 and announced their engagement in 2024. They welcomed a daughter earlier this year before getting married.

Maguire and Meyer finalised divorce in September

The wedding followed the finalisation of Maguire and Meyer's divorce on September 21, bringing their marriage to a legal end after years of separation and divorce proceedings.

The former couple married in 2007 and separated in October 2016 after nine years of marriage. They filed for divorce in 2020, but the process took several years to conclude amid private negotiations over assets, child custody and support arrangements.

Maguire and Meyer share two children, daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and son Otis Tobias, 17, both of whom attended the wedding.

Despite their separation, the former couple have maintained a close relationship and continued to co-parent their children.

Meyer and Ogunlesi's wedding comes months after they welcomed their first child together. Meyer announced the arrival of their daughter in a Father's Day post on social media, sharing a tribute to her fiancé.

"A perfect month with our perfect baby girl. We love you the most @geoffo212 💫 Happy Father's Day♥️," she wrote.

The baby is Meyer's third child. She shares Ruby and Otis with Maguire.

Who is Geoff Ogunlesi?

Geoff Ogunlesi is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company he launched in 2022. Based in Los Angeles, the company represents artists including Young Thug, charlieonnafriday, Myles Frost and Alabama Barker.

Ogunlesi is the son of Nigerian billionaire investor Adebayo Ogunlesi, a lawyer and investment banker who founded Global Infrastructure Partners, an infrastructure investment firm later acquired by BlackRock in 2024.

Despite his family's financial background, Geoff has established his own career in the entertainment industry, working with prominent names in hip-hop and building a presence in music management.

Tobey Maguire's career beyond Spider-Man

Maguire rose to international prominence as Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, in director Sam Raimi's superhero trilogy. The series began with Spider-Man in 2002 and continued with Spider-Man 2 in 2004 and Spider-Man 3 in 2007. He reprised the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, appearing alongside fellow Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland.

His other film credits include Seabiscuit (2003), Brothers (2009), The Great Gatsby (2013) and Pawn Sacrifice (2014), in which he portrayed chess grandmaster Bobby Fischer.

Maguire also appeared in Damien Chazelle's 2022 film Babylon, playing James McKay, and served as an executive producer on the film.
