Salman Khan drops 'Teri Sexy Beauty' at 5 am, leaves fans confused over 'Maatrubhumi' connection

Salman Khan surprised fans early on Wednesday by unveiling his new song, ‘Teri Sexy Beauty’, at around 5 am. Without any advance announcement or elaborate promotional build-up, the Bollywood actor shared a teaser of the track on Instagram, catching many followers off guard.

The song is from his upcoming film ‘Maatrubhumi’, but its upbeat, playful mood has left some fans wondering how it fits into a film described as a tragic war drama.

Salman Khan shares 'Teri Sexy Beauty' early in the morning

Salman posted the song teaser on Instagram around 5 am, accompanying it with a caption that played on the idea of an early-morning flight and the track's lyrics.

“Departure time 5:12 am…. Flight on time, 2 pegs down taking off with my sexy beauty… pata nahi kahaan mai land karoon (don’t know where I will land),” the actor wrote.

He also added the hashtag #TeriSexyBeauty Out Now and directed followers to the link in his Instagram bio to watch the full song on YouTube.

Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, the track features vocals by Salman and Muskaan, with additional vocals by Sajid Khan, who has also written the song. The music video features Salman alongside Chitrangada Singh, who plays the female lead in the film.

Fans question how the song fits into 'Maatrubhumi'

While the track brings romance, playful chemistry and a lively musical setting, its placement in ‘Maatrubhumi’ has become a talking point among viewers.

The song's YouTube description reads: “Love, masti and a little madness take centre stage in Teri Sexy Beauty, this fun-filled track brings a refreshing dose of romance, playful chemistry and carefree moments, celebrating the lighter side of love.”

However, some listeners were surprised by the contrast between the song's mood and the film's war-drama setting. One fan asked, “Fun song but what is it doing in that film”.

The unusual release timing also caught people's attention. With the song appearing online before most people had started their day, some wondered whether the early-morning post was intentional.

“Did he post it by mistake or is it just Salman being Salman?” one user commented.

Another fan appeared to relate to the actor's timing, writing, “Salman bhai matches my sleep cycle.”

The unexpected release has thus sparked conversations not just about the song but also about its connection to the film.
