Actor Kiara Advani has announced that she and her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra, are expecting their second child. The actor shared the happy news on Instagram with a heartfelt message, writing, “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude”, accompanied by heart, folded hands and evil eye emojis.

Couple welcomes another chapter in parenthood

The announcement comes a little over a year after Kiara and Sidharth welcomed their first child, daughter Saraayah Malhotra, in July 2025. The couple had confirmed the arrival of their baby girl through a joint Instagram post, saying their “hearts are full” and their “world forever changed”.

Kiara and Sidharth have kept family life private

Since becoming parents, the couple have largely kept their family life away from the spotlight. In January 2026, Kiara gave fans a rare glimpse of Saraayah in an Instagram video, showing her daughter looking through a magazine featuring her mother.

The couple had earlier announced their first pregnancy in February 2025, sharing a picture of baby socks and describing their unborn child as “the greatest gift of our lives”.

Sidharth recently spoke about fatherhood

The latest announcement comes weeks after Sidharth spoke about fatherhood during an appearance on Bigg Boss 20. He described fatherhood positively, while host Salman Khan playfully suggested that he and Kiara should have another child.

Kiara and Sidharth married in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer in February 2023, after their relationship blossomed during the making of Shershaah. Their latest announcement marks another major milestone for the couple as they prepare to expand their family once again.
