Emraan Hashmi's close shave on 'Gunmaaster G9' sets as high-risk car stunt goes wrong
Emraan Hashmi reportedly had a narrow escape while filming a dangerous stunt for his upcoming action romance ‘Gunmaaster G9’. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot shows a car suspended from a crane flipping in mid-air before crashing onto a black van parked underneath it. The vehicle came dangerously close to the actor's face, raising concerns about the risks involved in the sequence.
The incident took place during the filming of the movie's climax. While the video captures the car flipping and landing on the van, it remains unclear whether the mishap was part of the planned sequence or if something went wrong during the shoot. The film's makers have not issued a statement clarifying the circumstances surrounding the incident. No injuries have been reported so far.
Earlier incident in Haridwar sparked controversy
This is not the first time the film's shoot has drawn attention. In June, filming in Haridwar triggered an uproar after some locals mistook a movie set for a real bar.
Producer Deepak Mukut responded to the allegations, maintaining that the team had no intention of hurting anyone's sentiments and had resolved the matter after speaking to residents.
"We go to shoot scenes with necessary props, at places without any intention of hurting anybody's feelings. We always respect the system and follow all the rules. After speaking to the local people, we sorted it out," said producer Deepak Mukut, who was taken aback by the accusations. He shared that, as a Hindu, he would never consider opening a bar in Haridwar.
