Deepika Padukone's maternity shoot pictures with Ranveer Singh and Dua are winning hearts

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh gave fans another glimpse of their family life as they marked daughter Dua's birthday with a series of pictures from a maternity shoot. Shared on Instagram on September 8, the photos featured the couple with Dua, while Deepika proudly showed off her baby bump.

The post quickly drew warm reactions from fans and celebrities. Arjun Rampal, Neena Gupta, Aditya Dhar, Varun Dhawan and Mini Mathur were among those who congratulated the couple and sent their wishes to the family.

The couple captioned the post, "Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings."

Deepika's lace outfit costs over Rs 48,000

For the shoot, Deepika wore the Kianna Set by Deme by Gabriella. According to the brand's official website, the ensemble is priced at Rs 48,643.

The white outfit features detailed lace and cutwork, with a top designed with a front cut-out that opens around the waist and extends downwards. She paired it with matching floral lace trousers, creating a coordinated look for the beachside photographs.

The outfit's description on the website calls it "perfect for statement-making moments, from festive occasions to elevated evening looks".

Deepika kept the styling understated, wearing her hair in loose beach waves and choosing to skip jewellery, including earrings. Ranveer complemented her in an all-white look, pairing a white shirt with matching trousers.

Dua also featured prominently in the pictures. Dressed in a shirt and trousers, she wore her hair in two ponytails finished with ribbon bows.

Deepika and Ranveer announced second pregnancy in April

Deepika and Ranveer announced their second pregnancy on April 19 by sharing a picture of Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. Instead of a caption, the couple used two evil-eye emojis.

Deepika had earlier spoken about the challenges she faced during her first pregnancy. "I went through a lot in the eight, nine months of being pregnant," she said.

After becoming a mother, she also reflected on the experience, saying, "One hundred per cent. Every cliche is true. When mothers say, 'You'll understand when you become one,' it's true. I have so much more respect for my mother now."

She also spoke about the need to support mothers returning to work: "I feel strongly about how new mothers need to be supported when they return to work. That's something I want to focus on."
