PM-Kisan money today: How to check e-KYC and beneficiary status online
Farmers across the country are set to receive the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme on October 30, with the Centre announcing a transfer of Rs 18,680 crore to 9.34 crore beneficiaries. The release comes ahead of Diwali and will provide eligible farmers with Rs 2,000 each directly into their bank accounts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the funds at an event in Banaskantha, Gujarat. Farmers have been advised to check their beneficiary details and ensure that their e-KYC is complete to avoid delays in receiving the payment.
What is the PM-Kisan scheme?
Launched in 2019, PM-Kisan is a central sector scheme that provides income support to eligible farmer families. Under the programme, beneficiaries receive Rs 6,000 annually, paid in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.
The amount is transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts every four months. The 24th installment is scheduled for release on Friday, October 30.
