CBSE to issue revised Class-12 physical marksheets through regional offices

Candidates will be required to surrender their old original marksheets before the issuance of the revised marksheets

Revised physical marksheets of students whose Class-12 scores changed after verification or re-evaluation will be made available at the CBSE's regional offices in due course, sources said on Monday. Candidates will be required to surrender their old original marksheets before the issuance of the revised marksheets. "Revised physical marksheets will be available at the regional offices in due course. Candidates will be required to surrender their old original marksheets before the issuance of the revised marksheets. The updated marksheet is also available in the candidate's DigiLocker account and is valid for all purposes," one of the sources said.

Candidates who require it immediately are advised to use the DigiLocker marksheet, the sources added. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday released the re-evaluation results for the Class-12 students who had applied for a verification and re-evaluation of their board exam answer sheets, with more than 87 per cent of the total applications declared in the first phase. The board said, "CBSE has commenced the release of Class XII Verification of issues observed and Re-evaluation outcomes." "The outcomes will be released in a phased manner as and when the processing of individual applications is completed. Today, the results of around 87 per cent of candidates who have applied for Re-evaluation and/or Verification of Issues observed have been declared," it added.

The CBSE said the outcomes for the remaining candidates will also be released in phases and the entire process is expected to be completed soon. It assured students that every application has been processed through a "robust, transparent and carefully monitored system" to ensure fairness and accuracy. The CBSE declared the results of the Class-12 examinations for approximately 17.69 lakh candidates on May 13. The board provided candidates the facility to obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer books from May 19 to May 25. Subsequently, candidates could apply for verification of observed issues and/or re-evaluation from June 2 to June 7.
