'You've become so expensive': Falguni Pathak Navratri tickets cost up to Rs 2.04L, fans cry foul

Falguni Pathak’s Navratri Utsav 2026 tickets range from Rs 2,200 to Rs 2.04 lakh, prompting fans to question the steep prices

Falguni Pathak’s Navratri Utsav 2026 in Mumbai has sparked a debate over ticket prices, with rates ranging from Rs 2,200 for a single-day entry to Rs 2.04 lakh for a premium package.

The nine-night celebration will be held from October 11 to October 19 at Jio World Convention Centre, with Pathak scheduled to perform live on all nine days.

Tickets range from Rs 2,200 to Rs 2.04 lakh

According to BookMyShow, the Phase 1 early-bird season pass for all nine nights was priced at Rs 16,000 per person. The Phase 2 pass cost Rs 18,000, while the current season pass is priced at Rs 20,000.

For those looking to attend only one night, Phase 1 single-day tickets started at Rs 2,200, excluding taxes.

The most expensive option is the POD package, priced at Rs 2.04 lakh for one night. It can accommodate up to 12 people and is valid only for the selected day. The package also includes a Rs 10,000 food and beverage coupon.

Fans question steep prices

The pricing has drawn criticism on social media, with some fans saying the cost could put the event out of reach for middle-class families.

One fan wrote, “I love Falguni Pathak and wait all year for Navratri just to attend her Garba shows. But choosing a venue like Jio Convention Centre makes it very difficult for many middle-class families to afford the experience.”

Another user questioned the ticketing process, writing, “What mockery like always on book my show … the passes r bulk booked by event companies and will be sold to us in black where already the pass price is 16k to start with.”

Pathak’s longtime fans also compared the event with her earlier performances at more accessible venues. One Instagram user wrote, “Fallu, you've become so expensive! 😭😭😭.”

Nine nights of live garba

The event is being organised by TribeVibe Entertainment and Alphonso Studios, with West Avenue Realty as the title sponsor. Pre-sale bookings for guests who attended last year’s event began on August 12, while general bookings opened on August 13.

Pathak, widely known as the “Garba Queen”, has been associated with Mumbai’s Navratri celebrations for decades. She rose to prominence in the 1990s with popular songs, including Chudi Jo Khanki Haathon Mein, Maine Payal Hai Chhankai and Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi.
