The incident occurred on Wednesday as Tara was making her way towards a store surrounded by photographers, with members of her staff attempting to shield her from the cameras using umbrellas.
In the widely circulated video, Tara, dressed in an off-white outfit and wearing black sunglasses, is seen walking towards the entrance without stopping for photographs. Several paparazzi continue calling out to her and asking her to pose. As one photographer moves close with his camera, Tara immediately pushes the camera away and continues walking inside.
Photographers’ behaviour draws criticism
The interaction attracted further attention because of the manner in which some photographers could be heard calling Tara’s name. Social media users described their tone as mocking and inappropriate, while some reports said the behaviour appeared to border on catcalling. Photographers continued asking the actor to stop for pictures even after the uncomfortable encounter.
