Richa Chadha’s travel series ‘Musafiri’ to premiere on YouTube on September 25

Richa Chadha’s eight-episode travel series ‘Musafiri’ will premiere on September 25, exploring Mumbai’s history, culture, traditions and people

The first episode of actor Richa Chadha's non-fiction YouTube series "Musafiri" is set to release on September 25 and will be followed by a new episode every week.

The travel-based series will be another project under the actor's banner, Pushing Buttons Studios. Blending travel, culture and conversations, the show will have the actor explore destinations while uncovering the stories, history, traditions and people of the places.

It will comprise eight episodes and release on Phull Stop YouTube channel, according to a press release.

The actor, who also serves as a producer on the project, said she has always been "curious about history, art, culture and people".

"I was a history honours student and grew up in a family where academics and curiosity were very much a part of our lives. Musafiri felt like a natural extension of that part of me. It is my attempt to travel through a city I thought I knew," she said.

The actor, who welcomed her daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal in 2024, said motherhood changed the way she viewed the world. "It makes you curious all over again, you start questioning things you have taken for granted, looking at the familiar with a completely different sense of wonder. I found myself asking so many questions about the city I have lived in for years. Do I really know Mumbai? How much of this city do I actually know," she said.
