Actor R Madhavan is set to host a new business reality show, ‘The Gamechangers’, which will bring startup founders and investors from different parts of the world together in Dubai.
The show will be produced in Dubai for audiences in the Middle East, with the makers planning to take the format to other countries in the future. It will give startup founders an opportunity to present their business ideas to an international panel of investors from Dubai, London, Russia and the United States.
70 founders to pitch their ideas
The show has already received strong interest from startups, with 70 founders set to be selected to pitch their ideas before the investor panel.
The selected entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to seek financial support, interact with business leaders and explore ways to expand their companies. The format will also bring founders in contact with experienced mentors, investors and potential funding opportunities.
For viewers, the show is expected to offer a closer look at the entrepreneurs taking part, including their business ideas, challenges and plans for the future.
What Madhavan said
Madhavan said the UAE's growing reputation as a destination for innovation made it a suitable location for the show.
“Every great company begins with belief. A belief in an idea, a vision, and the courage to pursue it. The UAE has become one of the world's most exciting destinations for innovation, and The Gamechangers Middle East is designed to discover bold founders, champion transformative ideas, and inspire a new generation to think bigger and create lasting legacies.”
Filmmaker and producer Vipul D Shah is also associated with the project. He said the response to the show reflects the interest among entrepreneurs in the region in finding new avenues to grow their businesses.
