Vir Das is set to take his comedy to one of New York's most iconic stages, with the comedian scheduled to perform at Radio City Music Hall on January 30, 2027, as part of his ongoing ‘I Say We Run’ tour.
The New York performance follows the opening show of the international tour at London's Royal Albert Hall. Das is also scheduled to perform at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena next month before bringing the tour to New York in January.
‘A pretty surreal feeling’
For Das, the Radio City Music Hall performance is more than another international stop. The Manhattan venue is one he grew up hearing and seeing, making the opportunity to perform there particularly meaningful.
“Radio City Music Hall is one of those venues you grow up seeing and hearing about. To be able to walk onto that stage and perform my own comedy there is a pretty surreal feeling," he wrote in an Instagram post.
The comedian also spoke about the excitement of taking his show to a new venue, despite having performed at several prominent stages around the world.
“I can't wait to bring this tour to New York and experience Radio City with the audience," Vir Das said.
From Carnegie Hall to Radio City
The upcoming performance adds another celebrated New York venue to Das' international comedy journey. He has previously performed at Carnegie Hall, while his global appearances have also included the Sydney Opera House and Singapore's Esplanade.
The comedian's international career has taken him to audiences across several countries, with his work earning him an International Emmy.
Das expands beyond stand-up
Alongside his comedy career, Das has also worked across film and television. His recent film appearance was in ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’, which marked his directorial debut.
The film was backed by Aamir Khan Productions and featured Mithila Palkar and Mona Singh in key roles. Imran Khan and Aamir Khan also made special appearances.
With the ‘I Say We Run’ tour continuing across international venues, Das' January 2027 performance will mark his latest appearance at one of New York's best-known entertainment landmarks.
