Tom Holland has climbed to the top of the all-time highest-grossing actors list, with his films now having earned $15.55 billion worldwide. The actor's latest release, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', has pushed him past several major Hollywood names.
Holland, 30, reached the No. 1 position after the superhero film collected $2.45 billion globally. His rise has been particularly quick — he was ranked seventh just two months ago, ahead of Chris Hemsworth but behind Tom Cruise.
Zoe Saldana now follows Holland with $15.47 billion, while Scarlett Johansson stands at $15.40 billion. Chris Pratt has earned $15.15 billion and Samuel L Jackson has $14.6 billion.
Marvel stars fill the top 10
The list is largely made up of actors associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robert Downey Jr has a career box office total of $14.3 billion, while Chris Hemsworth has $12.19 billion.
Vin Diesel, whose credits include the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Avengers' films, has $12.04 billion, while Chris Evans has $11.49 billion.
Tom Cruise is the only actor in the top 10 without an MCU role. His 45 films have collectively grossed $13.37 billion worldwide. The 'Mission: Impossible' franchise accounts for $4.74 billion, while the two 'Top Gun' films have earned $1.9 billion.
Holland's journey to global stardom
Holland began performing on stage at 11 and made his film debut four years later with 'The Impossible'. He went on to appear in 'How I Live Now', 'Locke' and 'Billy Elliot the Musical Live' before turning 18.
His career took a major turn in 2015 when he signed a six-film deal with Marvel Studios to play Spider-Man. He first appeared as the character in 'Captain America: Civil War', which crossed $1 billion worldwide.
Since then, four solo 'Spider-Man' films featuring Holland have collectively grossed more than $6.3 billion. His appearances in 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame' further boosted his total.
Outside the MCU, Holland has starred in 'Uncharted' and 'The Odyssey'. His two films in 2026 have together earned more than $4.1 billion. He is also due to appear in 'Avengers: Doomsday' later this year.
