Karan Johar's popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' is yet to return, but speculation around its ninth season has already taken over social media. An unverified guest list circulating on Reddit has sparked excitement among fans, with several big names reportedly being considered for the show.
The list includes Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda and comedian Samay Raina, among others.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers about the guest lineup.
Karan has confirmed that the show will return around Diwali. In an interview with The Week, when asked about the next season, he said, “Diwali. Season 9".
'Dil Chahta Hai' reunion on the cards?
One of the biggest talking points from the alleged list is a possible reunion of the 'Dil Chahta Hai' cast. Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Akshaye Khanna are reportedly being considered for an episode together.
Another reported pairing has Diljit Dosanjh and Vicky Kaushal, while Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon could also appear together.
Rashmika, Vijay pairing grabs attention
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are among the names that have caught the most attention on the alleged list.
The two have faced years of speculation about their relationship, although neither has officially confirmed that they are dating.
Comedian Samay Raina is another unexpected name reportedly linked to the upcoming season. The list suggests that he could share the couch with Farah Khan. Samay currently hosts India’s Got Latent Season 2 on Netflix.
More celebrity pairings reportedly in list
The alleged lineup also features several other combinations. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan are reportedly being considered for one episode.
Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn could appear together, while Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are also rumoured to be part of the season.
Saiyaara actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have also reportedly made the list. Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor could feature together, while Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya are also said to be among the possible guests.

For now, the guest list remains unverified. It originated from a Reddit post, and the show's makers have not confirmed any of the names or pairings.
Fans will therefore have to wait for an official announcement before knowing who will actually take the famous Koffee With Karan couch in Season 9.
