'Hanuman Ansh’ continues its strong run at the box office, with the spiritual drama crossing the Rs 300 crore mark in worldwide collections during its sixth week.
According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 6.25 crore on Wednesday, taking its worldwide collection to Rs 309.15 crore on Day 42.
‘Hanuman Ansh’ crosses Rs 300 crore
The film has collected Rs 243.38 crore nett in India, while its domestic gross collection stands at Rs 287.40 crore.
Made on a reported budget of just Rs 1.75 crore, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has now earned around 150 times its production cost.
Its latest milestone has also pushed the film into the top three highest-grossing Hindi movies of 2026. It currently trails ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and ‘Border 2’ on the list.
Film’s box office run picks up
‘Hanuman Ansh’ did not begin its theatrical journey with a wide release. Its screen count dropped to just 25 after films such as ‘Batwara 1947’ and ‘Awarapan 2’ arrived in cinemas.
The situation changed after ‘Batwara 1947’ failed to perform as expected. ‘Hanuman Ansh’ gradually gained more screens, while its audience response also strengthened.
The growing footfall helped the film maintain its momentum and extend its theatrical run well into its sixth week.
Story of Neem Karoli Baba
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ tells the story of Uttarakhand saint Neem Karoli Baba, whose real name was Lakshman Narayan Sharma.
The film follows a grieving Lakshmi Narayan as he begins a spiritual search after losing his mother. His journey across North India, as he seeks answers about life, death and suffering, eventually leads to his transformation into Neem Karoli Baba.
The saint’s teachings of love, service and compassion form the central theme of the film.
‘Hanuman Ansh’ stars Shobhinaw Satya in the lead role, alongside Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.
