Rapper Badshah and Punjabi actor Isha Rikhi have confirmed that they are going their separate ways, around five months after their reported marriage. The couple addressed their relationship on August 31 through identical statements shared on their respective Instagram stories.
Putting an end to the speculation surrounding their marriage, they said the decision was mutual and asked for privacy.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time.”
They also made it clear that they would not be discussing the matter further.
“This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship.”
Couple kept marriage private
Badshah and Isha had largely stayed away from public attention during their relationship. Reports about their marriage emerged in March 2026 after Isha's mother, Poonam Rikhi, posted pictures from what was described as an intimate ceremony.
The couple had reportedly been together for nearly four years before getting married. Isha later acknowledged the marriage herself during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session in June.
Isha's posts had sparked questions
Speculation about trouble between the two began in July after Isha shared a post featuring pictures and videos of herself and Badshah. Her caption read, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope.”
She later posted a more detailed message about personal struggles, writing, “There are battles that leave no visible scars. For a long time, I remained silent because I was afraid. I felt overwhelmed by the influence, power, and resources I believed my husband had, and I convinced myself that staying quiet was the safest thing to do. Silence was never acceptance. It was survival. Today, I'm choosing courage over fear. I may not be ready to tell the whole story, but I'm finally ready to stop pretending that everything was okay."
Neither addressed the speculation at the time.
Badshah's second marriage ends
This is Badshah's second marriage to end in divorce. He was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he has a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh. The couple married in 2012, welcomed their daughter in 2017 and finalised their divorce in 2020.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested Isha may have been approached for 'Bigg Boss 20', though neither she nor the show's makers have confirmed her participation.
Badshah also released his first Marathi hip-hop track, 'Chimna', on August 31.
