Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Kannada superstar Yash as Ravana.

The film is a two-part cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic and is among the most ambitious mythological productions undertaken by the Indian film industry.

Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with visual effects company DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind, the project brings together talent from Indian and international cinema.

The production has also enlisted Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A R Rahman to create its musical score.

International action specialists Terry Notary and Guy Norris are associated with the film's action sequences, adding to the scale of the production.

The first instalment of Ramayana is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, with screenings planned across multiple formats, including IMAX.

The multilingual release is aimed at reaching audiences across the country, reflecting the production's pan-Indian ambitions.

The second instalment is scheduled for release in 2028, completing the two-part adaptation.

Allu Arjun's message comes as the film prepares for its theatrical debut, with the actor emphasising the importance of supporting cinematic projects that bring India's traditional stories and cultural heritage to the big screen.
