CBSE said the examination timetable had been prepared after schools completed the submission of their Lists of Candidates, enabling the board to assess the subjects selected by students.
More than 40,000 subject combinations were considered while preparing the schedule to prevent clashes between examinations chosen by individual students.
The board also took into account the tentative schedules of major entrance examinations, the need for adequate gaps between commonly selected subjects and the availability of examination centres.
Arrangements for evaluation and the availability of teachers were also considered to minimise disruption to academic activities for other classes.

The announcement came later than the previous academic session, when CBSE released a tentative examination schedule on September 24, 2025, followed by the final datesheet on October 30.
For the 2027 examinations, the board issued the timetable in November after receiving the final candidate and subject-selection data from affiliated schools.
Students can access the Class 10 and Class 12 examination schedules through CBSE's official website, cbse.gov.in.
The board has advised candidates to check their subject codes, examination dates and reporting instructions carefully. The examinations are scheduled to begin at 10.30 am, although the duration may vary depending on the subject.
Schools are expected to inform students about examination-related instructions, while admit cards will be issued ahead of the examinations.
The publication of the timetable allows students, parents and schools to finalise revision plans and prepare for the board examinations beginning in February.
