Indian Air Force helicopter makes emergency landing in Bihar's Muzaffarpur due to snag

An Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in a waterlogged region of Muzaffarpur district, Bihar, on Wednesday after it encountered a technical issue, officials confirmed. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Kumar, the helicopter was returning from Darbhanga, where it had air-dropped relief materials for flood-affected residents. The aircraft landed in the waterlogged Aurai block, and local residents promptly pulled out the crew.

District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen stated that all four occupants of the helicopter appeared to be safe and unharmed. As a precautionary measure, they were being taken to a nearby hospital for further medical checks.
