Man sentenced to life imprisonment for 2021 murder of 30-year-old woman in Dubaulia village

A local court has sentenced a man, identified as Sonu, to life imprisonment for the murder of a 30-year-old woman named Shashikala in 2021. The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rama Kant Prasad, also imposed a fine of Rs 16,000 on the convict. The crime took place in Dubaulia village on January 28, 2021.

Atish Kumar Singh, the Additional Superintendent of Police, stated that Sonu was found guilty of murdering Shashikala in a violent incident that shocked the local community. Following the investigation and trial, the court reached its verdict on Tuesday, bringing justice for the victim.
