Lexus India launches ES Luxury Plus Edition with enhanced features for the festive season

Lexus India has introduced the ES Luxury Plus Edition, a new variant of its popular ES 300h sedan, just in time for the upcoming festive season. The new edition, designed to enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the vehicle, reflects the company’s commitment to offering high-quality, sophisticated vehicles for discerning customers.

The ES 300h has been a key model for Lexus in India, contributing significantly to the brand's growth since its debut in the country in 2017. Known for its elegant design, quietness, and self-charging hybrid electric powertrain, the locally manufactured model accounted for 55% of Lexus India’s sales in the first half of 2024. The launch of the ES Luxury Plus Edition further strengthens the brand’s market presence.

Key features of the ES Luxury Plus Edition include:

Silver Grille: Enhances the front appearance, giving the vehicle a more distinctive road presence.
Rear Lamp Chrome Garnish: Adds a premium touch to the rear design.
Illuminated Scuff Plate: LED-lit Lexus logo on the scuff plate adds a touch of elegance to the interior.
FR Courtesy Logo Lamp: Projects the Lexus logo on the ground when the door opens, enhancing the sense of exclusivity.
Rear-Seat Pillow: Increases comfort during long journeys, highlighting Lexus' focus on passenger well-being.

Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, stated that the ES Luxury Plus Edition is designed to elevate luxury and sophistication during the festive season. "This exclusive edition, adorned with new accessories, is crafted to enhance every journey, blending unparalleled style, comfort, and innovation," he said.

Lexus India has also made strides in customer service. In June 2024, the company introduced an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new models sold in India, a first in the luxury car segment. Additionally, a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program, launched in February 2024, aims to improve customer convenience. From August 2024, Lexus began offering high-quality factory body coatings, further enhancing the brand's premium image.

The Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition is priced at ₹69,70,000 (ex-showroom, all India) and will be available at Lexus Guest Experience Centers starting September 2024. Installation of the new features will be handled exclusively at these centers, ensuring precision and quality in every detail.
